Terms of Service
These Terms govern the conditions and procedures for using Dexter and its related website (dexter.tools) and product service (app.dexter.tools, together the “Service”), operated by (주)레이지데브즈 (the “Company”), and set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and its users.
Effective: September 27, 2026

Purpose and Acceptance
These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the Service and the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and its users.
By signing up, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy, including keeping and using information from the tools you connect. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
Article 2
Description of Service
Dexter provides, on a subscription basis, a personal AI agent dedicated to each user. The Service is currently in open beta, and features may be added or changed from time to time. Key features include:
- Natural-language requests and file/image exchange through messengers such as KakaoTalk and Slack, and through the web dashboard
- Google and Microsoft account automation — Calendar, Mail, Drive (OneDrive), Docs, Sheets, Slides, Tasks, and more
- Integrations with work tools such as Slack, Notion, GitHub, Linear, Stripe, Vercel, Buffer, and Supabase
- Scheduled and recurring automations (briefings, reports, etc.), plus installable skills and apps
- Keeping the minimum information needed from the tools you connect (Google, Microsoft, Slack, Notion, GitHub, Linear, Stripe, Vercel, Buffer, or Supabase) and, based on it, having Dexter suggest or create and turn on automated tasks that help you before you ask
- AI model access through your own AI account (ChatGPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), or Grok (xAI)); without one, the Service runs on a default model provided by the Company
Article 3
Account and Authentication
- Google account authentication is required to use the Service; using the agent requires a paid subscription and a connected messaging channel (such as KakaoTalk).
- You must be at least 14 years old to use the Service.
- You are responsible for keeping your authentication methods and connected permissions secure; you are responsible for consequences arising from your failure to do so.
Article 4
Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Misappropriate others’ information or register false information
- Generate, send, or distribute spam, malware, or harmful content, or otherwise interfere with the normal operation of the Service
- Instruct the AI agent to perform tasks that violate the law or infringe the rights of others
- Reverse engineer the Service or bypass or disable its security
- Impersonate others or fraudulently use accounts or connected permissions
- Reproduce, resell, or redistribute the Service without the Company’s prior consent, or otherwise act unlawfully or contrary to public order and morals
Article 5
AI Agent Limitations
Outputs of the AI agent may be inaccurate or incomplete and do not constitute professional advice, so you are responsible for reviewing them yourself.
Actions the AI agent performs on your connected accounts (such as sending email or changing events), and the results of automations you schedule, are performed on your behalf and under your responsibility.
Dexter may create and turn on helpful automated tasks on its own, based on the information it keeps from your connected tools and the requests you sent in the last 30 days. Automations Dexter turns on by itself are limited to tasks that only notify you (reminders, summaries, organizing, etc.); Dexter tells you each time it turns one on, and you can turn it off or delete it with one tap. Actions that affect others or outside services — sending email, changing events, messaging other people, or writing to or changing anything in a connected tool — run only if you turn them on yourself.
Article 6
Connected Services
The Service integrates with third-party services (Google, Microsoft, KakaoTalk, Slack, Notion, GitHub, Linear, Stripe, Vercel, Buffer, Supabase, OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, etc.) only within the scope you authorize. You may disconnect any integration at any time from the connections screen.
If you connect your own AI account (ChatGPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), or Grok (xAI)), the agent’s AI processing runs through that account, and the provider’s (OpenAI’s, Anthropic’s, or xAI’s) terms and policies apply to that processing.
The Company does not use data accessed through integrations to train AI models.
When you connect a tool, Dexter keeps and uses information from it (you are deemed to have agreed to this when you signed up, under Article 1). If you disconnect, Dexter stops fetching new information, but what it already kept stays so it can pick up where it left off if you reconnect. Kept information is deleted when you delete your account. What is kept from each tool and other details are in Article 6-2 of the Privacy Policy.
The Company is not responsible for issues arising from outages or policy changes of third-party services (Google, messaging platforms, payment processors, AI model providers, etc.).
Article 7
Billing, Free Trial, and Cancellation
- Payment: Paid subscriptions are processed through our payment provider (Stripe); prices and billing cycles are disclosed on the checkout screen. Card numbers and other payment-method details are collected and held directly by Stripe.
- Free trial & promotions: A free trial or discount promotion may be offered for your first subscription; specific conditions are disclosed at checkout. If you cancel within the trial period, you are not charged.
- Renewal: Subscriptions renew and are charged automatically on the agreed cycle until you cancel. Price changes are announced in advance and apply from the next renewal.
- Cancellation: You may cancel at any time in Settings. After cancellation you retain access until the end of the period already paid for, and no further charges are made.
- Withdrawal & refunds: Withdrawal of offer and refunds follow applicable law, including the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce. Contact iam@lazydevz.com.
Article 8
Intellectual Property
- Rights in the Service and its components (software, design, trademarks, etc.) belong to the Company or its licensors.
- You retain rights in the data you create, input, or that is processed through integrations. The Company uses it only to the extent needed to provide the Service, and does not use it to train models.
Article 9
Protection of Personal Data
The collection, use, retention, and deletion of personal data are governed by the Company’s Privacy Policy.
Article 10
Service Provision and Availability
The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted service and may temporarily suspend all or part of the Service for maintenance, outages, force majeure, and similar reasons. During the open beta, features and terms of provision may change. The Company makes reasonable efforts to provide the Service stably.
Article 11
Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “AS IS.”
However, this provision does not unfairly exclude or limit any liability the Company bears under applicable law, and any disclaimer that violates the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions or similar laws is of no effect.
Article 12
Indemnification
You are responsible for disputes and damages arising from your violation of these Terms or applicable law or your misuse of the Service, and you will defend and hold the Company harmless against them.
Article 13
Account Termination and Restriction
You may request withdrawal and deletion of your data at any time. When you withdraw, all of your data — including information kept from your connected tools and Dexter’s memory, tasks, and conversation history — is deleted (work and conversations left in someone else’s Dexter that was formerly shared with others, and backups, follow Articles 3 and 6-2 of the Privacy Policy), except records the law requires us to keep, and this cannot be undone. The Company may restrict or suspend the Service if you violate these Terms or fail to pay. On subscription end or withdrawal, your data is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Article 14
Changes to Terms
The Company may amend these Terms within the bounds of applicable law. We post the changes and the reasons on this page (and may also announce them in the Service), and amended Terms apply from the time they are posted.
If you continue to use the Service after the amended Terms are posted, you are deemed to have agreed to them.
Article 15
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and lawsuits regarding disputes between the Company and users are subject to the courts determined under the Civil Procedure Act and other applicable laws.
Addendum
These Terms take effect on September 27, 2026. This revision adds keeping information from connected tools (Google, Microsoft, Slack, Notion, GitHub, Linear, Stripe, Vercel, Buffer, Supabase), automation suggestions and automatic creation, the Microsoft integration, and the AI accounts you can connect (Claude, Grok).
The previous Terms (effective July 17, 2026) applied until September 26, 2026.
September 28, 2026 — Updated the wording on kept information in Article 6 to match the Privacy Policy amendment (per-tool retention periods removed; deleted when you delete your account).
October 2, 2026 — Added to Article 13 that work and conversations left in someone else’s Dexter that was formerly shared with others, and backups after withdrawal, follow Articles 3 and 6-2 of the Privacy Policy.
